My experience as a former college Mailchimp Intern for three consecutive semesters on both the Event Marketing and Partner Marketing teams gave me a strong understanding of Mailchimp’s customers and taught me to listen hard, collaborate courageously, and thrive in complexity.

Agency & Freelancer Benchmarking Event

One of the projects I am most proud of during my internship was the creation of Mailchimp’s first Agency & Freelancer Benchmarking Event in 2021. I pitched, planned, and executed this successful event to coincide with the launch of the first annual Mailchimp & Co Benchmark Report. I designed the Agency & Freelancer Benchmarking Event as two virtual, global sessions taking place on the same day to account for time zones. This resulted in over 2,000 attendees from more than 12 countries taking part in this inaugural event and great partner feedback from around the world. I built alignment around the goal of showing customers all over the world how they could use the insights from the Mailchimp Benchmark Report to transform their business.
