Social Media Campaign

ADPR 5320 Graphic Communications

Designing for the Web is one of the most common activities for a graphic designer working in Advertising or Public Relations. This project was an opportunity to show my understanding of how to design for social media platforms and how to extend the visual language of a campaign from one deliverable piece to another through Photoshop.

Facebook Banner

The National Cerebral Palsy Foundation’s mission is to be a catalyst for change for the 17 million people living with cerebral palsy around the world. They work to improve healthcare, education and make sure that individual shave access to the latest technology.

In 2021, their Annual Fundraising Gala was virtual for the second year. Proceeds from the event supported CPF’s programs and life changing work.

Instagram Post

This Instagram post coincides with the Facebook banner to promote CPF’s virtual benefit gala. Created in Photoshop, it uses contrast to immediately draw the viewer’s attention to the name and date of the event. The repetition of the two contrasting typefaces also helps to unify the page.

The audience of this social media campaign would be the friends and family members of those involved in the National Cerebral Palsy Foundation as well as anyone affected by CP. The goal of the campaign is to generate awareness for the event and increase attendance and donations.
